Profile: Top-Consultant.com

Top-Consultant.com is a careers website dedicated to recruiters and candidates from the management consulting and IT consulting industry. Founded in 2000 by ex-consultants, we were acquired by Jobsite in 2005. Our clients include most of the world’s leading consulting brands; a wide array of niche consultancy practices; major FTSE corporates; plus a significant number of recruitment firms who specialise in placing consulting candidates.

At the time of writing the following household brands had all undertaken hiring campaigns on Top-Consultant.com within the last months: Accenture, BT, Capgemini, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, IBM, KPMG, PA Consulting and PwC (to name just a few).

The quality of our readership is vital to Top-Consultant. We do not tie clients into long-term contracts but rather rely on a high repeat business rate being the natural outcome of hiring campaigns having been successful on the site. As such, maintaining a candidate reach that delights clients is absolutely fundamental to our business.

The consulting industry can be characterised as having very demanding hiring requirements. Successful candidates will usually be very well educated, often Oxbridge graduates or those with top degrees from other leading universities. Many will have MBAs. The majority of experienced hire candidates will earn in excess of £50k with a significant minority earning £100k+. Top earners in the industry can earn well over £400k.

Our high client retention rate and exceptional customer feedback pays testimony to our ability to reach this high-calibre audience on behalf of recruiters.  We are delighted that the NORAS survey is able to provide an independent assessment of our readership that also demonstrates the strength of our candidate reach. The following charts should give you a good overview of the quality audience that we reach.
