NORAS Research methodology

NORAS works by combining two pieces of information:
- The profile of a site’s audience – collected via our online questionnaire. This reveals the quality and relevance of a site’s audience.
- The size of each site’s audience – measuring unique user numbers.
Combining the data tells you how many candidates (that match specific requirements) each site can offer.
For Example:
Job board A has 100,000 Unique Users per month.
15% of job board A’s users are ACCOUNTANTS in the SOUTH WEST
Job board A can therefore reliably state that it offers 15,000 ACCOUNTANTS in the SOUTH WEST every month.
All of the research adheres to market research standards and a final adjustment is made to the figures to weight them to nationally recognized BMRB standard internet user profiles.
The principle behind NORAS is simple. However NORAS can show far more than just simple statistics. There are over 10 million permutations and different online recruitment searches possible within NORAS results.
